Un album de Tim Burgess de The Charlatans intitulé "As I Was Now" et enregistré en quelques jours fin 2008 va enfin sortir sous la forme d’un vinyl le 21 avril dans le cadre du Record Store Day, et au format digital la semaine suivante. Debbie Googe (My Bloody Valentine), Ladyhawke, Josh Hayward (The Horrors), Martin Duffy (Felt, Primal Scream) et Steffan Halperin (Klaxons) avaient participé au projet jusque-là resté inédit.
Le dernier album de The Charlatans, "Different Days", est paru en mai 2017.
